One Day attracts hundreds of community members to celebrate the diversity in our community through a free, family-oriented celebration of everyone – for everyone – in our community. Our planning committee works hard to encourage the community at large to attend in the hope that through celebrating our similarities, we can break down the barriers that often result in social isolation for some.

One Day provides free musical entertainment, organized games, and inclusive activities that are accessible to everyone, children’s activities, an Artists and Crafters Marketplace, a $5.00 barbecue lunch meal, other refreshments, and more.

One Day is our community’s kick-off to Community Inclusion Month. Community Inclusion Month is a time when communities around the province and across Canada host events to celebrate the abilities and achievements of people living with diverse abilities.
