"I have been a home share provider for 2 gentlemen for 40 years and 35 years. It has been very rewarding sharing our lives with them. We have probably learned as much from them as they have from us over the years. They are included in all our family activities and are very much members of our family. I am very thankful for the opportunity of sharing our home and lives with these 2 guys and helping them to have a fulfilling life." - Shelley Mackie
"I started with Osanis in March of 2017 when I decided to become a home share provider. Even though I live in Metchosin they have provided excellent service. I find Angela to be a very easy person to talk to. If I have any issues she works with me to work out a solution. Angela has been available to answer any questions I have. When we have to have our meetings she works around my schedule." - Betty Cole

She has always been available whenever I need anything. I know I can call her anytime if I need support. That is a good feeling." - Shelley Mackie
"I have been a home share provider for 8 years now. I find it very satisfying to be able to help someone with disabilities. If I had the room I would take another person. It is also nice that it is non taxable income." - Betty Cole

"My eldest adult child started with Osanis in 2015. They were already 23. It had been an unfortunate battle to get the CLBC support. It was a very exhausting time for us. Living in a different city I have learned to work well with Angela and her staff to develop the best possible relationships to support my child. My adult child can be challenging to work both medically and behaviourally and Angela constantly goes above and beyond to address the issues and include me when appropriate. The Osanis team spends more time with my child than I can, I appreciate that I am kept informed on how I can best advocate for my child’s changing needs. I simply couldn’t be the parent I want to be without Osanis’s awareness of my child’s daily issues. The ongoing challenges of our post-Covid world have made it very difficult for providers of any form of health care. Through it all Angela works extremely hard to provide what her clients need. I really appreciate Angela’s devotion to both her clients as individuals and to finding/ supporting a dedicated team." - Elaine Hampson
"As a homeshare provider and sibling of an individual who receives services, I have been with Osanis for more than 6 years and I have always felt supported and my needs acknowledged. Angela and her staff at Osanis have always been accessible whenever the need arises. I have always received a prompt response to any questions or concerns that have come up and the communication is clear and concise. I couldn't have asked for more in an agency. My brother who receives services wanted to share that Osanis is his agency and he always knows that Angela is on his team! My brother says that he likes it when Angela comes to see us and to show Angela his room. He also likes how Angela listens to him and answers his questions. Our mother also wanted to share that her experience with Osanis has been a positive one and the services they have provided for her son have always been specific to him and his needs. Our mom also noted that they approached Osanis ten years ago with hopes of finding an agency with a more individualized approach and we have never felt so seen and heard as family members. She knows Angela has been very hands on and engaged with her son and we know his needs and wishes are always heard, considered and made top priority. We can't express how relieved we were to find an agency that we know has their clients best interest at top of mind. We rest easy knowing our family member is safe, happy and well taken care of.." - Fenner Rumble
"My son is a brain injury survivor with various degrees of abilities and skills. His short term memory needs proper queuing at all times. Unique to him, he has to have supports working in tandem, to his every step. We are grateful for the support Osanis has provided to us for over 10 years, as needed support services specific to my son’s needs. Angela helped us initiate and execute our personalized plan with supportive services, maximizing independence for our son. Goals are set, in collaboration with Angela. Each set goal has been met with Osanis listening and providing seamless coverage even through Covid. I have been by my son’s, side advocating for him for 19 years. Angela listens and supports us. Never have I met someone so dedicated to her clients. She focuses on my son and has his interest at the forefront always. My son feels safe, secure, and encompassed in his care." - Cindy More
"Osanis has been a huge support to me and my daughters almost since their inception in 2012. They have a very thorough intake system taking many aspects into consideration when enlisting a client from the practical to psychological. I first came into contact with Osanis to provide services for my youngest daughter in 2012/2013. During this time, Osanis provided assistance with accessing basic necessities and other community services. My daughter’s needs were great, and I did not live in the same city to help her always myself. Osanis helped to stabilize my daughter’s daily life to be more manageable for all of us. Years later, around 2021, I called upon Osanis again as my oldest daughter needed support, and she also did not live in the same city as me. Osanis has provided workers to help my daughter access services, attending appointments, assisting with logistical barriers, and encouraging healthy living. Overall, I have found that Osanis really cares about what they do and the people they assist. I have also found them to have a high level of integrity and conscientiousness." - Tina Roys
