DESCRIPTION:In partnership with MHRP SI and supported by the CRD IDEAS grant\, join Rachel for 4 weeks of therapeutic photography. \nCome out and meet like-minded people\, have fun and learn the basics of photography skills like the rule of thirds and composition using your smartphone or camera! \nThe first meeting with be held at the MHRP SI Boardroom (941 Kings Rd) Tuesday\, Sept 24th 1-3pm\, followed by 2 community outings to spark creativity and capture scenes in some of our cities most beautiful spots. \nOn the last meeting\, we will return to the MHRP SI Boardroom to share and celebrate the photographs taken throughout our journey together. \nPlease bring with you a smart phone or camera – final prints will be provided by Social Gathering Place. \nTo register\, please email hello@socialgatheringplace.ca

DESCRIPTION:The University Health Network’s Pride in Patient Engagement in Research (PiPER) team is hosting the Second Annual PiPER Research Day! This year’s theme will explore the immense value that Neurodiversity and Inclusive Practices can bring to institutions and research. \n\nWednesday\, October 9\n9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. ET\nHybrid (The Guild Inn Estate\, Scarborough\, ON & Online)\n\nThis event is a chance for researchers\, PLEX (Person(s) with Lived Experience)\, students\, and others to gather in person\, build relationships\, share success stories and exchange the latest information while promoting and strengthening the current practices of patient engagement in research. For more information and to register\, visit the PiPER Research Day website. \nRegistration Information\nNOTE: Registrations are non-refundable. In-person attendees can switch to virtual attendance for free. \nIn-person Attendance – $150/person (+fees and HST)\nIn-person registration includes:\n\nNetworking Breakfast (includes continental breakfast – baked goods\, yogurt\, juice\, coffee\, and tea)\nConference Materials\nMorning & Afternoon Coffee Breaks\nLunch\n\nAfter registering for In-Person attendance\, you will receive two emails. One will contain your Registration Receipt and another (Thank You for Registering) will have your ticket as well as a link to “Open Event App” where you can access the Virtual Portal. Your In-Person registration cost includes access to the Virtual portal where you can choose to attend in-person or virtually (see below for virtual attendance details). \nVirtual Attendance – $100/person (+fees and HST)\nNo need to commute to the Guild Inn!
