DESCRIPTION:This high energy program is designed to get your body moving. We’ll be dancing together to a soundtrack spanning different musical genres including pop\, latin\, jazz\, and more. Taught from a seated position\, this class is designed in a way to be suitable for adults of all abilities and fitness levels. \n  \nProgram Details \n– Wednesdays from 10:15 – 11:00am \n– October 8th – November 26th \n– Garry Oaks Room (1335 Thurlow Rd) in partnership with the Fairfield Gonzales Community Association \n– For adults (ages 18+) \n– $60.00 for 8 weeks \n​ \nRegistration opens on August 1st on the Fairfield Gonzales Association Website.

DESCRIPTION:This one-day conference is designed especially for educators including classroom teachers\, resource teachers\, education assistants\, and other professionals who work in the school setting with an emphasis on providing knowledge and strategies that can be applied in the classroom and school setting to support students with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. \nThis year’s conference focuses on foundational academic skills\, featuring expert-led sessions on literacy and numeracy instruction specifically tailored for students with Down syndrome. Our presenters have developed practical\, evidence-based approaches that educators can immediately implement in their classrooms and school settings. Join in person or take part virtually!
