SUMMARY:ONE DAY
DESCRIPTION:The 13th annual One Day event will take place on Saturday\, September 14th\, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm\, at Topaz Park in Victoria.\n\n\n\nOne Day attracts hundreds of community members to celebrate the diversity in our community through a free\, family-oriented celebration of everyone – for everyone – in our community. Our planning committee works hard to encourage the community at large to attend in the hope that through celebrating our similarities\, we can break down the barriers that often result in social isolation for some.\n\n\n\nOne Day provides free musical entertainment\, organized games\, and inclusive activities that are accessible to everyone\, children’s activities\, an Artists and Crafters Marketplace\, a $5.00 barbecue lunch meal\, other refreshments\, and more.\n\n\n\nOne Day is our community’s kick-off to Community Inclusion Month. Community Inclusion Month is a time when communities around the province and across Canada host events to celebrate the abilities and achievements of people living with diverse abilities.
