Our Young Adult Camps\, for campers 18-40 years of age\, are open to a variety of chronic illnesses and disabilities and serve to continue to deliver summer camp activities and fun peer-oriented communication experienced in our standard summer camps.  \nYoung Adult Camp #1 (June 23-27\, 2025) – Camper applications now open \nYoung Adult Camp #2 (August 25-29\, 2025) – Camper applications now open \nMIXED MEDICAL CAMP \nOur Mixed Medical Camps are structured for children aged 7-17 with various medical conditions. SUMMARY:Community Living Victoria's Teen Community Connections (TCC)
DESCRIPTION:Teen Community Connection Summer Camps 2025\n \nThis program is run by Community Living Victoria and is subsidized through funding from the Supported Child Development Program. All activities are community-based and promote access\, recreation\, leisure\, and FUN! Throughout the week\, teens are in locations that may include local beaches and parks\, recreation centres\, local attractions\, community events\, and more. Activities may include nature walks\, hiking\, swimming\, mini-golf\, bowling\, rock-climbing\, physical literacy sessions (PISE)\, arts and crafts\, cooking\, theatre\, movies\, gardening\, outdoor programs run by Power to Be\, and time for leisure. Our goal is to provide a positive and welcoming environment that encourages personal growth\, life-skills\, and social interaction. Applicants can request up to 5 weeks of summer camp\, depending on available space. SUMMARY:PiSE - Summer Inclusion Support Service
DESCRIPTION:PISE is happy to provide a variety of options for participants who require inclusion support. If your child requires inclusion support please read the instructions below on how to register and review our frequently asked questions. If you still have questions regarding our Inclusion Support Service email inclusion@pise.ca. \nRegistration for inclusion opens March 12 at 7:00am online and 7:30am in person/phone \nRegistering your Child for Inclusion Support: \nAt PISE we do our best to provide inclusion support to as many participants as possible\, while still providing the opportunity for participants to have the best camp experience possible! Participants are eligible for up to TWO weeks of Inclusion Support services each summer\, on a first come\, first serve basis. Our staff are unable to provide personal care such as toileting or feeding. \nSTEP 1: Review our camp offerings\, and decide on your desired dates for your child to attend a PISE camp. \nSTEP 2: Register your child in an Inclusion Support camp week. Please note you do not have to register your child in the actual camp\, registration in an Inclusion Support camp will secure your childs spot in your desired camp. Our Inclusion Coordinator will reach out to you directly confirming your Inclusion Support\, and will assist you with registration and payment in your desired camp. \nIf your desired week is full\, add yourself to the waitlist or see if a different week is still available. \nSTEP 3: Once you have received confirmation\, you will be requested to complete and submit our Intake Form. This must be submitted within 14 days of registration. We are thrilled to invite all registrants\, whether they have a diagnosis or not\, between the ages of 3-18 to come join us for a fun-filled summer adventure. Our camp is a place where children can explore and discover new things in a safe\, inclusive\, and supportive environment. We offer a variety of indoor and outdoor activities\, crafts\, games\, and more that are designed to engage and challenge campers while encouraging them to make new friends and create lasting memories. For our teenage campers\, we offer the opportunity to not only enjoy camp as a camper but also to take on minor leadership tasks within the camp setting to build their confidence and skills. SUMMARY:Sooke Options for Community Living Association
DESCRIPTION:Summer Journeys Day Camp\nSOCLA has operated this fun-filled summer day camp for many years now and every year it just gets better! Activities are carried out in an age appropriate manner and are flexible to allow for the different abilities of the participants in a way that ensures success. Our activities will take place in and around Sooke\, with occasional outings to places in Victoria. The participants’ daily activities can include exploring local beaches and parks\, working at arts and crafts and much more. Every participant will need sun hats\, sunscreen\, bathing suits\, towels\, as well as snacks and lunches every day. All activities are pre-planned in hopes to provide enjoyment\, skill development and appropriate social involvement. \n\n\nProgram runs July 7th to August 29th\, 2025 (9-3pm) \nPlease contact Nicole Meek executivedirector@socla.ca for registration information. \n\n\nSuitable for:\nChildren and youth with developmental disabilities. Children who require 1:1 support may attend if prior arrangement is made for one of SOCLA’S staff to provide 1:1 supervision via other funding source (private\, autism or respite funding\, etc.).
