DESCRIPTION:We welcome you here to connect and share with other Indigenous caregivers in a culturally safe and respectful space. We acknowledge and celebrate different perspectives around disability\, while recognizing the unique barriers that Indigenous families with disabilities face in a colonial society. \nThis group is for any Indigenous caregiver (First Nations\, Métis or Inuit) who cares for a loved one with any disability\, with or without a diagnosis\, regardless of their age or gender\, calling in from anywhere in BC. Remember: It takes a village to raise a child. Maybe you’ll find part of your village here. \nThis Family Hangout launches on December 21\, the day of the Winter Solstice. \nSunday\, December 21\, 2025\, at 6:00 pm \nThis Family Hangout will take place every month\, on the 3rd Sunday of the month. \nREGISTER HERE
